Afterschool & Holiday Club Assistant – Thame
Location: Thame,Oxfordshire
Hours: Afternoon shifts during term time (exact hours vary by school)
Optional: Early morning 6-hour shifts available during school holidays
Pay: £ – £ per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Afterschool Club / Holiday Club Assistant to join one of the local SEN schools in the Thame area. You will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children, whether at the end of the school day or during holiday programs. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive team and make a positive difference in children’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in leading fun, age-appropriate activities for children
Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all children in your care
Prepare and serve healthy snacks
Keep accurate attendance records
Support smooth handovers and communicate effectively with parents at pick-up
Work closely with school staff to maintain safeguarding and care standards
