An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, independent practice dedicated to providing high-quality first-opinion care for small animals and exotic pets. Based on the border of Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Lincolnshire, makes for a lovely location with easy access of all three counties.
The Role:
* Full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule (9 AM – 6 PM)
* No weekends or out-of-hours commitments, ensuring a great work-life balance
* A mix of consultations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures across a broad range of cases
* The opportunity to work with both small animals and exotic pets
* Clinical freedom to make independent decisions without corporate constraints

The Ideal Candidate:
The practice is looking for a veterinary professional who:
* Enjoys working in a supportive and collaborative team environment
* Is passionate about delivering exceptional veterinary care
* Has strong communication skills and a caring approach towards clients and their pets
* Holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine (BVSc or equivalent) and is fully registered with the RCVS
* At least one year of clinical experience in clinical practice is required, particularly in surgical procedures. Vet GDP should be completed and sole charge experience is preferred.
* Can work confidently under pressure while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor
