Physiological Measurements Ltd is seeking anenthusiastic and skilled Sonographer to join our award-winning team inManchester. We deliver high-quality community diagnostics, with a focus onnon-obstetric ultrasound services, supporting patients close to home.
Main duties of the job
You will perform a range of non-obstetric ultrasound investigations, including:
* General Abdominal
* Gynaecology
* Renal/Bladder/Prostate
* Testicular
* Small parts, lumps and bumps
* Vascular
Youll work independently to undertake and interpret diagnostic imaging, formulate clinical reports, and contribute to service development and innovation. The role involves working across various clinic locations, so the ability to travel independently is essential.

* Cardiology diagnostics (e.g. ECG, echocardiograms)
* Non-obstetric ultrasound (NOUS) including abdominal, MSK, vascular, and gynaecological scans

Person Specification
Experience
* Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or overseas equivalent
* Professional registration with HCPC/SOR/RCT
* Minimum 2 years independent scanning and reporting experience
* UK or international driving licence (with a view to acquiring a UK licence)
* Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check
* Overseas applicants must possess IELTS Level 7
* Experience in MSK ultrasound techniques
* NHS experience
