Graduate Electrical Engineer (Building Services)

Are you a Graduate Electrical Engineer looking to kickstart your career in a well‑established company, offering tailored in‑house training on Building Services Engineering and fully funded external software courses to make you a fully‑fledged Electrical Design Engineer? In this role you will be responsible for the electrical design for a range of high‑profile commercial buildings, as well as schools, prisons and hospitals. You will oversee the projects from design to practical completion on lighting and critical power systems, fire and security, setting out drawings for the BIM team and providing complex calculations. The company has been operating for over two decades and prides itself on high‑quality work in the building services industry, assisting some of the largest UK contractors on mechanical, electrical and HVAC solutions. This role would suit an Electrical Engineering graduate looking to join a thriving and rapidly growing company, where they will receive full training on Building Services Engineering.
The Role
* Design lighting, power, fire and security systems for commercial buildings
* Full training on Revit and Amtech software
* Set out drawings and designs for the BIM team
* Produce and understand complex calculations for electrical designs
* Monday–Friday, 9 am–5 pm, 37.5 hours per week
