Days from time to time: Mon 07:00-14:00, Wed 06:00-12:00, Thu 07:00-13:30, Fri 07:00-13:30, Sat 07:00-14:00.
Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35/hour; this increases to £14.56 inside M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours weekly, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). We are flexible with scheduling within the advertised availability windows, with 3 weeks' notice for shifts. We welcome applicants seeking flexibility.
As a Tesco Customer Delivery Driver, you'll deliver to customers' homes, helping and providing excellent service with a smile. Your role involves more than just driving—it's about customer service, physical activity, and variety in daily tasks.
Responsibilities include:
* Keeping the van and trays clean and organized.
* Leaving the delivery area tidy and picking up litter.
* Washing trays as required.
* Loading the van, checking its roadworthiness.
* Communicating with customers about order changes, substitutions, and refunds.
* Handling products carefully.
* Delivering within the scheduled time slots.
* Calling customers or stores if running late or early.
Requirements include:
* Building positive relationships with colleagues.
* Being warm and welcoming in customer interactions.
* Responding quickly to customer needs and embracing change.
* Being energetic and motivated.
* Sharing ideas for store improvements.
* A valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
