Lead Dietitian Care Homes and Care at Home
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, registered Dietitian to provide professional leadership associated with the provision of food, fluid and nutritional care to staff within registered care services. This includes Care Homes and Care @ Home services and will work in collaboration with the Lead Dietitians, Advanced Dietetic Practitioner in Frailty and other colleagues across the Health & Social Care Partnership.
We are looking for someone who will demonstrate innovative ways of working to engage motivate and influence a workforce that is under pressure that will lead to service efficiencies, enhanced quality and improved patient outcomes. You will work closely with Collaborative Care Home Team, Lead Nurses, Adult Social Care, Senior Managers, local, private and third sector care providers.

You should be forward thinking, proactive with excellent organisational, clinical and communication skills.
Dietitians across the area work closely together and joining our service offers the opportunity to work as part of a supportive, friendly, progressive team. Were committed to delivering safe, effective care, innovation and shifting the balance of care to preventative models. Evidence of knowledge and practice of a motivational interviewing style of communication and an understanding of health inequalities would be an advantage.
Formal and informal supervision is always available and we actively encourage personal growth and development through PDP and can offer plenty of opportunities for CPD. You will continue to promote evidence based practice, participate in the creation of new projects and support undergraduate student placements.
This is a permanent, full time post and will be part of the growing Nutrition and Dietetic service. You will be required to travel across the area so a full driving licence is essential.
