Position: National Transport Manager
Aprolis UK is recruiting for a transport manager to operate at group level to handle the following tasks:
1. Plan and organise all daily internal national transport movements for Aprolis UK LGV vehicles and drivers.
2. Facilitate movements using outside contractors as/when required.
3. Coordinate the delivery and collection of new and used equipment for both owned and customer-owned property to and from site on behalf of sales and operations.
4. Maintain service and driver records for company LGV vehicles/operators licence, and ensure compliance with current legislation.
Skills and Experience: National Transport Manager
* Experience in a similar role
* Attention to detail
* Good geographical knowledge
* Organised with the ability to prioritise and plan
* Extensive knowledge of internal and external transport capabilities
* Ability and experience managing vehicle fleets in accordance with legislation
