37 hours per week on a rota basis covering days, evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays. 7 days per week 365 days per year. (ability to work irregular and unsociable hours as required)

Your role:
Working out of hours carrying out People's Directorate Adult Services, Children and Families Services, Mental Health Act Assessments and PACE interviews as and when required. Taking contacts, as well as providing advice, information and support to members of the public and other professionals.
Ensuring the welfare of people through in person visits where required, assessing risk and intervening as appropriate. Take on responsibilities delegated by the Service Manager in ensuring the delivery of high quality and effective services to adults, children, families and carers including adults at risk of harm and adults in need. To assist the Team Manager to manage the team's workload, assume responsibility for complex work and deputise in the Team Managers absence.
About you:
You will develop and maintain high professional standards for the team in line with current and future legislative and corporate requirements and will quality assure and approve supported self-assessments and support plans produced by Social Care staff.
You will provide support and oversight to Safeguarding processes and chair strategy discussions and meetings as dictated by the service.
You will be responsible for maintaining your SW England registration and AMHP warrant. You will be responsible for providing supervision to daytime AMHPs., You would be joining a select team of 6 SW/AMHPs who ensure 24 - hour cover, 365 days per year. The team members work flexibly over 7 days including evenings, nights and weekends. The team work as an emergency duty team and are responsible for both Adult and Children Social Work interventions. You will work independently as a team member providing excellent customer care at all times and promoting positive behaviours in the workplace. You will also work in an integrated team with both health and wider social care colleagues. You will be responsible for providing supervision to AMHPs.

Salary: Grade 10, £45,091 - £49,282 per annum.
