Service Manager Vacancy in Warwickshire
1. Location: Leamington Spa
2. Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum (plus overtime potential) depending on experience
3. OTE: Earn up to £48,000 - based on profitability, productivity and customer satisfaction
4. Working Hours: Monday to Friday with Saturday mornings on a 1 in 3 rota
5. Benefits: Bonus Scheme, 24 days annual paid leave (increasing with service), and Pension
Our client is a customer-focused, professional independent garage. They pride themselves on supporting the local community with friendly, professional vehicle maintenance services. As part of a strategy for growth, they are looking for a Service Manager to manage their busy workshop team.
Key Responsibilities:
6. Manage a team of advisors and technicians.
7. Price and formulate customer quotes and invoices.
8. Organise work schedules ensuring work standards and timescales are achieved.
9. Liaise directly with customers and service advisors to keep customers fully informed.
10. Source vehicle parts required for mechanical work in the workshop.
11. Adapt and track workshop activities to completion.
12. Provide technical guidance to the workshop team as needed.
Requirements:
13. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
14. Excellent customer management skills.
15. Technical experience with Level 3 Qualified or time-served automotive mechanic professional history.
16. Proficient computer skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and internal systems.
17. Ability to deliver high standards of performance and meet critical timelines.
18. Direct experience managing a workshop team with an aptitude for multi-tasking.
19. Strong team ethic with excellent communication skills.
20. Quality awareness.
21. Full driving license.
