Are you a compassionate and proactive Wellbeing Officer looking for a rewarding role within a supportive college environment? The Role

* Provide high-quality pastoral and wellbeing support to students across the college.

* Offer one-to-one guidance, signposting, and early intervention to students experiencing wellbeing, emotional, or social difficulties.

* Work with safeguarding leads and external agencies when required to ensure student safety and support.

* Deliver workshops, drop-in sessions, and wellbeing initiatives that promote positive mental health.

* Maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of whole-college wellbeing strategies.

* Collaborate closely with teaching staff, support teams, and leadership to foster an inclusive and nurturing college environment.

Key Requirements

* Experience in a wellbeing, pastoral, safeguarding, counselling, or student support role (college or school setting desirable).

* Strong understanding of young people’s mental health, safeguarding procedures, and effective support strategies.

* Empathetic, patient, and able to build trust quickly with students.

* Excellent communication, organisation, and record-keeping skills.

* A proactive, adaptable individual with a genuine passion for supporting young people’s wellbeing.
