About the Role
As Attendance Officer, you will support daily attendance and punctuality processes, ensuring accurate records and timely follow-up. Responsibilities typically include:
* Monitoring daily attendance and punctuality and ensuring registers are accurate
* First-day response calls/messages and logging outcomes clearly
* Identifying patterns of absence and escalating concerns appropriately
* Supporting attendance meetings and action plans
* Producing attendance reports and information for pastoral leaders
* Liaising professionally with families and external agencies where required
* Supporting safeguarding through accurate attendance information and prompt follow-up
