Responsibilities

* Engage actively in research in Environmental History or a related field.

Qualifications

Your PhD must be awarded by 1 September 2026 and you should have expertise in Environmental History. Demonstrate fresh, exciting research that complements existing University, faculty and departmental strategies.

We especially welcome candidates whose work engages with oceanic history, energy history, animal history, and non‑western, indigenous, or decolonial methodologies. Show how your research interfaces with the department’s specialism and broader research network.

* Closing deadline: Monday 5 January 2026 11:55pm (UK Time).
* Apply via the university careers portal: warwick-careers.tal.net.

* Interview scheduled for March 2026 (remote via Microsoft Teams). Start date 1 September 2026.

Benefits

* Attractive pension scheme.
* 30 days holiday plus University Christmas closure.
* Generous parental/adoption leave.
* Onsite childcare facilities.
* Excellent learning and development opportunities.
