Job Title: Shift Engineering Supervisor

Schedule: 4-on, 4-off (12-hour shifts, 7am7pm)
Were looking for an experienced Shift Engineering Supervisor to join our team at a Grade II* listed government site in Central London. This is a critical leadership role on a high-profile facilities management contract, ideal for a confident, technically-skilled professional with Authorised Person (AP) experience and qualifications.
What Youll Do:
1. Lead and supervise a team of multi-skilled engineers
2. Oversee delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works (RW)
3. Manage electrical systems, HVAC, isolations, and switching
4. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
5. Coordinate with contractors, clients, and internal teams to maintain service excellence
6. Work a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern covering 7am7pm
What Were Looking For:
7. Strong background in building services (mechanical, electrical, HVAC)
8. Qualified and experienced as an Authorised Person (AP)
9. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
10. Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and CAFM systems
11. Clean UK driving licence
12. Must currently hold or be eligible to obtain Counter-Terrorism Clearance (CTC)
(This is a mandatory pre-employment requirement)
Desirable:
13. 18th Edition
14. IOSH Managing Safely
15. City & Guilds/NVQ in plumbing or mechanical engineering
16. Experience working on PFI contracts
