About Aphex

We're the construction planning platform that's replacing outdated spreadsheets with multiplayer tools that delivery teams love. Major contractors like BAM, Balfour Beatty, SKANSA, Kier, MACE, and Murphy use Aphex to deliver projects ranging from £50 million to multi‑billion pound megaprojects.

We're the market‑leading solution in both Australia and the UK. Since launching in the UK in 2019, we've transformed how major contractors plan and build projects. When we expanded to Australia in 2022, we quickly became the go‑to platform for major infrastructure and building projects. Today, we're supporting teams building the roads, rail, tunnels, hospitals and buildings that millions of people will use every day.

We're tackling an industry that drives 10% of global GDP yet has seen productivity decline for 20 years. It’s time for change.

The role

We’re hiring a regional marketing expert to establish what in‑person activation looks like for Aphex – how we show up in the market to spark conversations, connect with our ICP, and make our ideas about project delivery tangible.

Based in the UK, this person will build and lead our events and community marketing presence, creating engaging experiences across major events, community‑driven meetups, and online formats. You’ll also help us champion our customers – celebrating their success, amplifying their stories, and building loyalty through advocacy and gifting programmes.

In this role, you’ll act as a bridge between our London presence and our marketing hub in Australia and New Zealand. Expect hybrid and asynchronous work, with occasional early mornings or evenings to connect with the wider team. We value a regular rhythm of in‑person collaboration in our London office, without setting a fixed schedule.

This is a hands‑on role, ideal for someone who thrives in autonomy, enjoys building from the ground up, and wants to help define how Aphex connects with the construction industry.

What You’ll Do

* Own how Aphex connects with customers in person – from flagship industry events to project‑level interactions
* Lead event strategy and execution, building the playbook for our presence at major conferences and expos
* Develop and host community‑led formats like fireside chats and roundtables
* Test and scale online event formats that build community engagement
* Design the frameworks for how we recognise, reward, and celebrate our customers
* Build and manage VIP gifting, advocacy, and customer appreciation initiatives
* Coordinate milestone celebrations, merch packs, and creative brand touchpoints that make Aphex tangible
* Feed market insights directly into the global marketing engine
* Share patterns, themes, and opportunities emerging from regional events and conversations
* Provide insight that will help inform our ad targeting strategies, account‑based marketing, and positioning using first‑hand feedback from UK and European teams
* Shape how Aphex approaches field marketing and community engagement globally
* Create repeatable frameworks for events, gifting, and advocacy
* Document what works in the UK and codify learnings
* Collaborate with the wider marketing team to prepare for rollout into new geographies

About You

At Aphex, we believe our team should reflect the variety of perspectives in the world we build for. We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every listed requirement – your unique perspective might be exactly what we need.

You’ll Thrive In This Role If You

* Have experience planning and executing high‑impact events (in‑person or online)
* Bring creative ideas for community activation and customer advocacy
* Are comfortable working autonomously in a hybrid, asynchronous environment
* Are highly organised, with strong project management skills
* Have an eye for brand experience and storytelling
* Enjoy collaborating with a global team and sharing regional insights

Nice To Have (but Not Essential)

* Experience in B2B marketing, particularly SaaS or construction technology
