To work with Directorates, Wards, and Departments in providing a comprehensive Portering Service throughout the Trust.
Applicants must be physically fit, possess good communication skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team. Self-motivation, commitment to customer care, and awareness of quality standards are essential.
The successful candidate(s) will receive training covering all aspects of the Portering role. This is a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting; therefore, flexibility in approach is required.
Full-time: 37.5 hours; Part-time: 30 hours.
Various shifts are available to cover a 24-hour rota, including early, late, and night shifts over 7 days, including weekends and public holidays.
The hourly rate is £12.21, with enhancements of +33% for hours worked Monday to Saturday, and +66% on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Pay award pending.
