CYP Inpatient Administrator

We have an opportunity for an Administrator to support our Inpatient Hub in Ancora House.
We are looking for a motivated and resourceful individual to join our administration team. You should possess commitment to team working and innovative delivery of excellent standards of work.
The candidate will be expected to organise and prioritise their own workload on a daily basis, ensuring that time deadlines are met and that urgent work is accommodated.
This is a varied role and can be demanding at times, whilst supporting the clinical team. The candidate will be expected to provide cross cover for colleagues as and when required.
We will ensure that the candidate has access to internal opportunities for development, with access to supervision and appraisal.
This is a 10 month fixed term full time role.
The Trust currently supports the Real Living Wage (RLW) hourly rate as set by the Living Wage Federation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.

Main duties of the job
Ancora House is a child and adolescent mental health service, consisting of two wards, Coral Ward and Indigo Ward, an Assessment and Outreach Team and an Eating Disorder Service. The inpatient wards provide person‑centred acute care for young people aged 14‑18. The multidisciplinary team comprises nursing, occupational therapy, psychology, family therapy and psychiatry. The administrator will work across all areas, providing comprehensive administration support for the Tier 4 Service.
Job responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative support, including appointment scheduling, record keeping, correspondence, and coordination of clinical paperwork.
Maintain confidentiality and accurate data within health information systems.
Actively participate in the management of the administrative workflow and facilitate communication across the multidisciplinary team.
Provide cross cover for colleagues and respond to urgent requests.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Evidence of good typing skills e.g. RSA 111/NVQ Level III in an admin related subject or equivalent
* Educated to an appropriate standard of English Language to undertake the job role
* ECDL
Knowledge and Expertise
* Working knowledge of software programmes e.g. Microsoft Office applications
* Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality
* Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines and use own initiative
* Managing workload and able to act independently
* Minute/note taking experience
* Clear and accurate written and verbal communication skills
Experience
* Experience of providing secretarial/administrative duties
* Experience of working in a health environment
* Experience of working as a member of a team in an office environment
* Experience of processes and procedures within this service area

Employment Conditions
£24,937 to £26,598 a year (pro rata)
