Job Summary
Based in Central Lancashire, this highly acquisitional IT‑based organisation is seeking a talented financial accountant to join an expanding group in a newly established role. A hybrid position, one day in the office, the role will lead on financial accounting for their German overseas entity. The position is varied and diverse, supports further growth and comes with a competitive salary and package.
Key Responsibilities
* Raising customer invoices
* Accounts receivable / accounts payable
* Bank reconciliations
* Fixed assets
* Accruals / prepaids
* IFRS 16
* Intercompany transactions
* Processing of travel expenses
* Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for all German entities
* Support the preparation of monthly group reporting for working capital and management packs
* Support the preparation of statutory annual financial statements and tax returns
* Preparation of VAT returns
* Communicate with the external accountant/tax advisor on a monthly basis
Qualifications and Experience
* Experienced finance professional with fluency in German (written and verbal)
* Part or fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Excellent communication skills
* Prepared to visit the overseas entity once or twice a quarter
