The Opportunity
This role will take ownership of statutory reporting and consolidation across a complex, multi-entity structure. You’ll play a key part in delivering a high-quality audit, enhancing financial controls, and driving improvements in reporting processes within a fast-paced, investor-led environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the preparation of statutory accounts under IFRS / FRS 101
* Manage group consolidations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
* Act as the primary contact for external auditors and coordinate the audit process end-to-end
* Produce technical accounting papers across key areas (e.g. leases, revenue, impairment)
* Strengthen financial controls and improve audit readiness
* Support month-end and quarter-end close on complex accounting areas
* Drive process improvements and automation within reporting and consolidation
* Manage and develop junior team members
About You
* Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) with c.5+ years PQE
* Strong technical accounting experience (IFRS / FRS 101)
* Proven track record in statutory reporting and managing audits in multi-entity environments
* Experience with consolidations and complex group structures
* Background in a Top 10 audit firm is highly desirable
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to operate at pace
* Confident stakeholder manager with experience working in PE-backed or fast-growth environments
