The Role:
As a PED Engineer, you will deliver new feature content, lead design validation and sign-off, and support data analysis and decision-making. Your work will contribute to product efficiency, performance, and drivability attributes across vehicle architectures and models.
Your responsibilities:
* Maintain PED system tools and databases with latest metrics and intelligence data.
* Analyze test data and generate attribute reports, compare with historic and compliance data.
* Support benchmarking activities, including physical and virtual testing.
* Assist in calculating attribute targets during development milestones.
* Support testing and development activities as required.
* Coordinate with vehicle teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
Your Profile - Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
* Understanding of vehicle efficiency physics, energy demand cycles, electric range, fuel economy, CO2 metrics for BEV/Hybrids.
* Knowledge of vehicle engineering and cross-functional experience.
* Experience with problem-solving tools like Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, Design of Experiments.
* Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or automotive engineering.
* Proficiency with JIRA / Confluence, data analysis, Excel Macros, Matlab, or similar coding languages.
* Ability to manage multiple projects, and excellent communication skills.
