AI Research Manager - Exciting Defence Start-Up - London
We're hiring for an AI Research Manager to join a well-funded defence start-up building intelligent, collaborative systems to help them shape the future of autonomous systems. You will be joining an elite team in a pivotal point in the company's journey.
This role requires you to hold a security clearance (continuous residency in the UK for the last 5 years) or be willing to undergo UK security vetting to Security Check.
The role:
* Playing a key role in defining the product's features, design and trajectory
* Solving complex and mission-critical challenges
* Strong understanding of the latest developments in Machine Learning and AI

* Design AI solutions that take data from sensors all the way to actionable, easy-to-use interfaces
About you:
* Strong experience in AI/ML and robotics would be a plus
* 5+ years professional experience
* Any experienced authored publications in top-tier journals and conferences
* An ability to be both hands-on and manage a small team of AI/ML Engineers/Researchers
* Genuine curiosity to contribute to an evolving tech stack
