TEAM MANAGER - SASH (Specialist Adolescent Service Hertfordshire) ๐

๐ Full-time | 37 hours per week | Hybrid (3 office / 2 home)
๐ฅ About the Role
We're looking for a passionate and experienced Team Manager to join our Specialist Adolescent Service Hertfordshire (SASH) team. You'll operationally manage and develop a multi-professional team that delivers intensive interventions to young people at risk of exploitation - ensuring only the right young people become looked after and that risks are reduced within a contextual safeguarding framework.
You'll work closely with young people and families across Hertfordshire who are facing challenges such as:
๐น Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE)
๐น Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE)
๐น Family Breakdown - preventing children becoming Looked After
๐น Young People Missing from Home
๐น Risk of Radicalisation
๐น Rehabilitating Young People home after care
๐น Involvement in the Criminal Justice System
๐น Supporting the SASH Hub
๐ผ Key Responsibilities
โจ Lead and support a dedicated team of professionals delivering interventions to young people.
โจ Provide supervision, performance management, and professional development for staff.
โจ Oversee complex caseloads and ensure high-quality safeguarding practice.
โจ Drive positive outcomes for young people through effective leadership and collaborative working.
๐ Requirements
โ
Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
โ
Extensive line management / staff supervision experience
โ
Strong background in familial and extra-familial safeguarding
โ
Experience working with CIN, CP, CLA
โ
Skilled in managing complex cases and supporting staff resilience
โ
Knowledge of current legislation relating to safeguarding and welfare of children
๐ Car driver (essential)
