Location: Trent Acres, Kings Bromley
Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm
Salary: £26,670 per annum (not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

We are part of a 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial, where you can work one day less each week (or equivalent hours) while receiving full-time pay.

About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to work within the school to ensure the safe and efficient running of the school’s kitchen and dining facility, across two sites (Options Trent Acres and Options Brookfield). You will lead and support the kitchen staff in both sites.
Your duties include producing high-quality school lunches within budget guidelines, planning varied menus that align with School Food Standards, incorporating student input to promote healthy eating, and minimizing food waste by reviewing stock and ordering accordingly.
Ensure compliance with Environmental Health Agency standards and maintain a safe, clean environment for pupils, staff and visitors. Manage kitchen costs to stay within budgets and communicate effectively with students, staff and visitors.
About The School
Options Trent Acres is an outstanding independent specialist school providing 141 places for pupils aged 5-19. The school operates across two sites in Staffordshire, offering academic and vocational opportunities in a rural 12-acre site and a campus setting. The environment includes specialist learning areas and animal-based learning experiences, with access to horses, donkeys, goats, alpaca and chickens.
