Job Description:
Old Dominion University (ODU) invites applications for two Clinical Assistant Professors of Occupational Therapy positions within the School of Rehabilitation Sciences in the Ellmer College of Health Sciences, appointment effective July 25, 2025. The positions are annual, 10-month full-time faculty positions, though there are additional opportunities for paid summer course instruction.
Applicants will have teaching, scholarship, and service responsibilities in content areas that match the applicant’s clinical expertise, scholarship interests, and the needs of the program. In conjunction with the Program Director and other faculty, they will assist in the development of curricular design and content. admissions, and strategic planning and implementation of the program and School. Other responsibilities include advising and mentoring graduate students and taking an active role in department and university service and professional development. Minimum Qualifications:
Additional Considerations:
1. Previous experience in teaching occupational therapy students and mentoring student research and capstone projects.
2. Familiarity with 2023 ACOTE accreditation standards and accreditation process.
