Our client is a leading UK infrastructure delivery partner, supporting the ongoing transition from Hinkley Point C to the future Sizewell C development. With a secured two-year contract already in place and further project scopes in development, they are seeking a Contracts & Commercial Manager to lead the commercial delivery of one of their most strategic frameworks: GENCO590.

The opportunity
This is a senior, hands-on position leading the commercial management of a major contract in the nuclear sector. You'll manage end-to-end contract delivery, task order development, subcontractor performance, and commercial strategy across a high-value (£1530m+) portfolio.
Youll work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring risks are identified early, commercial opportunities are optimised, and delivery remains compliant, collaborative, and effective.
Key responsibilities
Full commercial and contractual oversight of GENCO590
Drafting and negotiating task orders, valuations, applications for payment
Subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and final account management
CEMAR-led early warning/risk reduction and internal KPI tracking
Supporting future SZC scopes and the broader nuclear business unit
Line management of junior commercial staff
What were looking for
5+ years NEC3/NEC4 experience in nuclear, civils, or infrastructure
Strong background in contractual delivery, task order negotiation, and subcontractor oversight
Ability to manage large-scale contract delivery (£1530m+)
Excellent client-facing and stakeholder relationship management skills
Experience using CEMAR, Sage, or equivalent systems
BPSS security clearance (or ability to obtain)
Ideally RICS-qualified or working toward accreditation
