The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a dedicated and hardworking Brick Cutter / Machine Production Operative on behalf of our client based in the Hadnall area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking long-term employment, with the role initially offered on a temporary basis and the potential to become permanent following a successful trial period.
Key Details
* Starting Pay: £12.71 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
* Role Type: Temporary to permanent
* Start Date: Immediate start available
* Pay Review: Following successful completion of the trial period
* Production Bonus: Available after successful completion of the trial period
Responsibilities
* Operating a chop saw to cut bricks to required sizes
* Following production schedules and meeting deadlines
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Inspecting bricks for quality before and after cutting
* Supporting general production tasks as required
* Adhering to all health and safety guidelines
Requirements
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Ability to work effectively within a team
* Basic understanding of workplace health and safety
* Good communication skills
* Physically fit for manual handling tasks (lifting and moving materials)
* Reliable and punctual
* Own transport is essential due to location
* FLT Counterbalance (CB) experience would be beneficial
