Key Responsibilities: Act as a senior strategic advisor, providing financial insight to shape business decisions and influence growth initiatives. Partner with operational and functional leads to drive commercial performance and cost optimisation. Lead the delivery of forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning across key business units. Translate financial results into clear, actionable insight to support both strategic and operational decision-making. Support and drive finance transformation and change initiatives, embedding best practices and continuous improvement. Deliver robust business cases, investment appraisals, and scenario analysis to support key business initiatives. Build strong relationships across a complex, fast-paced service-led environment to embed finance at the heart of decision-making. Candidate Profile: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 5 years post-qualification experience in a commercial finance role. Background in large, complex service sector organisations with exposure to senior stakeholder engagement. Demonstrated ability to drive change and contribute to transformation programmes. Strong commercial acumen with a focus on value creation and performance improvement. Exceptional communication skills and confidence presenting to senior leadership and executive teams. Comfortable operating in a dynamic, customer-focused environment. Desire to work in a role with significant influence but without direct line management, focusing on adding value through insight and business partnering.
