Grass cutter

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Neath Port Talbot to assist with the appointment of a Grass Cutter, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £12.85 - £16.62 per hour

Summary:

Grass Cutter / Grounds Maintenance Operative required to undertake grass cutting, mowing, weed spraying, and general labouring duties on the high-speed road network. The role involves working within protected traffic-managed sites, with training and PPE provided.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out grass cutting, mowing, strimming, and weed spraying activities.
• Undertake general grounds maintenance and labouring duties.
• Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
• Work within traffic-managed areas on the motorway and trunk road network.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures and site regulations.

Essentials:

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, grass cutting, or similar outdoor labouring work.
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual outdoor work.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
