Resident Liaison Officer – £38,000 per annum

I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established housing provider in South London, who are seeking a Resident Liaison Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an organisation that prides itself on creating “homes to be proud of and services you can trust”. You’ll play a vital role in engaging residents and supporting the delivery of planned maintenance and improvement projects across various neighbourhoods.
Key responsibilities include:
Acting as the first point of contact for residents regarding planned works, including decant and rehousing queries.
Organising resident engagement events and consultations to ensure the voice of the community is heard.
Working closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to communicate updates effectively.
Promoting and delivering social value initiatives within projects.
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all communication channels are handled professionally and efficiently.What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in a resident liaison, housing, or customer-facing role.
Strong understanding of partnership working and social value delivery.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage challenging situations calmly.
Knowledge of decant and rehousing principles would be highly desirable.
Good IT skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.This is a permanent position offering a salary of £38,000 per annum, with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on local communities while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
