QHSE Support Advisor

QHSE Regional Support Manager
As a QHSE Support Advisor, you'll play a key role in implementing Swissport's safety management policies at a local level—ensuring a safe, healthy, and compliant working environment for all employees. You'll be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and maintaining high standards across our station operations.
Responsibilities
* Implement safety management standards across the station
* Lead monthly Safety Management and Employee Health & Safety Committee meetings
* Report safety performance metrics to Station Management
* Ensure accurate reporting and recording of hazards and incidents
* Lead investigations into safety occurrences in line with corporate protocols
* Conduct internal safety audits and monitor corrective actions
* Maintain and update the station's operational risk register
Key Performance Indicators:
* Delivery of leading and lagging QHSE indicators
* Achievement of compliance and assurance certifications
* Effective implementation of the Swissport Global Management System

* Experience in aviation ground handling or cargo operations (desirable but not essential)

Qualifications & Competencies
* NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent (or working towards)
* IOSH membership (desirable)
* Understanding of food safety and hygiene (CIEH qualification desirable)
* Minimum 1 year of experience in safety management or systems
* Basic knowledge of UK safety laws and industry regulations
* Proficient in MS Office
