A vacancy has arisen for a Squadron Leader (Any) Profession to serve as UESO & Engagement Officer at 600 Sqn, at RAF Northolt on Part Time Volunteer Reserve (PTVR) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 09 March 2026. The UESO & Engagement Officer at 600 Sqn will be responsible for front line support and advice to Reservists and their Employers, Employer Notification, Employer Engagement as well as dialogue with Employer Recognition Schemes. Liaison with our recruitment group Southeast Region Reserve Support Wing (SEWRSW) ‘Engage to Recruit’ will be key. In addition, as a high-profile City of London Squadron the successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating the Squadron’s Engagement Diary ensuring all approved activities have suitable ProjO, maintaining oversight of the work being undertaken to ensure success. Some Media Engagement and reporting duties may also be required. Reporting to OC 600 Sqn the post will be based at RAF Northolt. Regular attendance at Sqn training weekends once a month will be expected and there will be some travel on routine, representative and engagement duties within the south-east of England and, potentially, abroad with an opportunity to participate in overseas staff rides. Remote working will be encouraged outside of formal training and Station events. 600 Sqn Aim: 600 (City of London) Squadron is a General Support Squadron within the Royal Air Force Reserves and based at RAF Northolt. Its primary aim is to provide trained personnel from a range of professions to support military tasks in the UK and overseas, delivering operational output to the regular RAF.
