Job Description:
We’re looking for a Senior Human Resources Advisor to join our Score Group team in Peterhead.
About the role
The Senior HR Advisor will
* Support the delivery of an integrated HR service (including but not limited to, providing management and staff with advice, information and practical guidance concerning HR issues, including employment legislation and policy related matters) aligned to achieving business objectives while effectively representing the HR function and SCORE values.
* Work collaboratively across HR and operational teams to support business goals, ensuring HR contributes meaningfully to strategic growth and the ongoing development of the business.
* Support the delivery of an operational hands on focused service to the business with a drive to make results happen in a timely fashion.
* Lead complex employee relations cases, contribute to strategic HR initiatives, and mentor junior HR team members.
Primary responsibilities
* Provide generalist HR support, advice and guidance to all areas of the business
* Support and provide effective guidance on complex employee relations matters
* Support HR strategy and co-ordinate the application of HR initiatives
* Review and maintain HR processes and procedures ensuring they are up to date and in line with current legislation
* Support recruitment processes, including interviewing and onboarding.
* Contribute to HR Projects.
* Support managers and the business in all aspects of HR
* Share knowledge with, coach and support the development of other members of the HR team
* Act as an ambassador for fairness and consistency in application of HR policies, procedures and standards
Qualifications
Experience
* Proven experience in a HR Advisory role is essential
* Proven experience working with confidential information is essential
* Experience of working within a fast paced HR team
* Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of employment law, with proven experience in all forms of case management including disciplinaries and grievances.
* Experience of taking initiative in and co-ordinating a varied generalist HR role.
* Ability to work along with minimal supervision
* Demonstrable multi-discipline Human Resources experience
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Be able to confidently take control of situations as appropriate and take ownership of tasks
* Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage and co-ordinate changing priorities
* Have effective communication skills, with the ability to share a message to varying audiences.
* Experience of developing and implementing HR policies and procedures;

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong problem solving and decision making abilities
* Ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation.
* Experienced in using Microsoft packages
* Respect for confidentiality in all aspects of the role
