Job Title: Housekeeper
Location: Nottingham
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday

This isn’t just cleaning—it’s curating comfort. As the Housekeeper, you’ll be the person who keeps everything fresh, spotless, and welcoming. You’ll take pride in presentation, notice the little details that others might miss, and help make our spaces feel like home for everyone who lives and visits here.
Your role goes beyond tidying up—it’s about creating calm, boosting wellbeing, and supporting a friendly, community-focused environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Regular cleaning of shared spaces including lounges, corridors, kitchens, and bathrooms.
Keeping high-traffic areas looking (and smelling) fresh at all times.
Carrying out deep cleans and special preparations for events.
Spotting and reporting any maintenance or safety issues.
Managing cleaning supplies and consumables, ensuring everything is stocked and ready.
Following health & safety procedures, including safe use of cleaning products.
Being a visible, approachable presence that residents can rely on.
Supporting wider site activities such as inspections, open days, and occasional events.
Who You Are
Experienced in housekeeping, cleaning, or facilities (student accommodation experience is a bonus).
Detail-oriented with pride in maintaining a tidy, welcoming environment.
Knowledgeable in health & safety procedures, including COSHH and manual handling.
Friendly, approachable, and comfortable working around young adults.
Proactive, reliable, and always spotting what needs attention before anyone else does.
