An exciting opportunity has arisen at Ysbyty Wrexham Maelor to join the Maternity Infant Feeding team to assist in delivering breastfeeding, lactation, and infant feeding care and support on the postnatal ward.
The role will mainly involve supporting mothers on the postnatal wards but will also include assisting the Infant Feeding Team with tasks such as data collection.
The applicant must be passionate about breastfeeding and supporting mothers to achieve their feeding goals. They must have experience in supporting breastfeeding and hold a recognised qualification in breastfeeding support from one of the UK recognised breastfeeding charities.
Are you passionate about breastfeeding? Can you work flexibly to support mothers? Are you enthusiastic about providing mother and baby-centred care during the first days of life? The successful candidate will demonstrate a caring and empathetic approach and the ability to relate positively to patients and colleagues. Relevant experience and/or qualifications demonstrating knowledge and skills beneficial to this role are essential.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable. Welsh and/or English speakers are equally encouraged to apply.
