Job Description: In this pivotal role, you'll drive the delivery of high-performing engineering services, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across critical airside systems.
Please note that this role operates on a 4 days (3 weeks) & 4 nights (1 week) shift pattern from Monday to Thursday and requires a full UK Driving Licence. This role operates without direct line management responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the scheduling and execution of maintenance plans to ensure systems remain fully operational.
2. Work closely with stakeholders to assess and reduce the impact of maintenance activities.
3. Provide expert guidance on critical systems within Airside Engineering such as the Floodtower, Fixed Electrical Ground Power, Stand Entry Guidance, and Aeronautical Ground Lighting.
4. Ensure all work complies with safety permits, statutory regulations, and company standards.
5. Monitor performance data and audit supplier outputs to maintain high quality and accuracy.
6. Promote a strong safety culture and support improvement projects and cross-team collaboration.
Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, ONC/HNC, or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
* Proven experience in engineering maintenance management.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* A proactive approach to risk management and continuous improvement.
* Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.
* Ability to lead teams and influence across functions.
Ideally, you will also have:
* Experience in configuring and managing critical systems.
* Experience as an Authorised Person.
* IOSH Managing Safely certification.
