About the role
We’re looking for a creative and versatile Designer who can bring the Lightfoot brand to life across multiple channels.
This role sits at the heart of the marketing team and will play a key part in elevating our brand positioning through strong, consistent and engaging design. They will be responsible for the creative execution of the marketing strategy.
You’ll work across print, web, digital marketing, exhibitions, sales materials and internal communications, helping us deliver our message clearly and creatively.
You should be equally comfortable designing high-performing digital experiences and polished print and presentation materials, with a strong understanding of brand, print, UX and web design principles.
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) operating on a hybrid basis, with office days on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The salary for this role is £34,000 to £36,000 per annum

What You’ll Be Doing
Brand & Visual Design
* Elevate and evolve the Lightfoot brand identity across all touch points to reflect Lightfoot’s growth and evolving market positioning
* Be our ‘brand guardian’ and making sure all assets are consistent and on brand
* Produce clear guidelines and principles which guide how Lightfoot is presented to the outside world
* Be comfortable producing a choice of design options within a variety of formats
Marketing & Print Design
* Produce sales leaflets, handouts, PowerPoints presentations and printed advertising
* Design for events, exhibitions and trade shows
* Develop info graphics and visual story telling to communicate complex ideas simply
Digital & Web Design
* Design responsive website pages, landing pages and digital marketing campaigns
* Produce SEO and GEO optimised design
* Collaborate with marketing and developers to improve UX and user journey on our website and app
* Create digital assets including email graphics, social media visuals, and online ads
* Identify and fix any issues or bugs – collaborating where required with the engineering team for prompt remedy.
* Use analytics to justify decisions, spot opportunities and identify areas where design/ UX can be improved
Collaboration
* Work closely with marketing, sales, engagement and leadership teams
* Translate ideas and messaging into clear, impactful visual design
* Help maintain and develop brand guidelines and design systems
What We’re Looking For
Essential
* Experience of contributing towards brand refreshes and relaunches
* Strong graphic design portfolio demonstrating brand, digital and print work
* Experience designing for web and digital platforms
* Good understanding of UX and user-centred design principles
* Ability to translate brand strategy into effective visual design
* Proficiency in design tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite or similar
* Proficiency in web including front-end development technologies, including HTML, CSS and responsive design frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap) and web content platforms such as WordPress.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
Desirable
* Experience of executing designs for B2B brands
* Knowledge of web design systems or component libraries
* Motion graphics or light animation experience
* Experience designing for events or exhibitions
* Exposure to AI tools which improve efficiency in design, marketing and brand
