Barking & Dagenham College are seeking Enrolment Support Officers to join our Admissions team during our busy enrolment period. You will join us on a fixed‑term, variable‑hours basis, up to 27 hours per week. The working hours and pattern are based around the enrolment schedule, which will include some evenings and Saturdays. The role will commence 11th August 2026 and will run until 12th September 2026. In return, we will offer a competitive salary of £14.53 – £16.08 per hour, inclusive of London Weighting, plus accrued holiday pay.
Enrolment Officer Role
The role provides an efficient, data‑compliant service to support the enrolment of applicants to BDC. It involves entering learner details into the College Learner Record System, assessing eligibility to study and fee remission where appropriate. The successful candidate will require a keen eye for data accuracy and be IT literate.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the admissions and enrolments service for learners.
* Process fully completed learning agreements by accurately entering their details into the College Learner Record System.
* Participate in college recruitment events as required.
What We’re Looking For
* Excellent data entry skills.
* Excellent customer service experience.
* General level of education to at least Level 3 is desirable.
* Experience of working within the Data Protection Act and dealing with confidential issues.
* Basic knowledge and understanding of the further and/or education curriculum.
* Experience of working with 16‑19 year olds and young adults is desirable.
* A strong team player with a supportive and helpful approach.
