What you will do:
* Complete comprehensive assessments of prospective adopters, including interviews, home visits, and analysis of background information.
* Prepare detailed Prospective Adopter Reports PARs for panel, ensuring analytical, evidence‑based recommendations.
* Present cases to the adoption panel and respond to queries, showcasing your expertise in adoption panel work.
* Contribute to matching children with suitable adopters, always prioritising the best outcomes for children.
* Assess risks, attachment needs, and parenting capacity to safeguard the well-being of prospective families.
* Provide guidance and informal supervision to less experienced social workers or assessing workers, nurturing the next generation of professionals.
* Liaise with health, education, and legal professionals throughout the adoption process, embodying effective multi‑agency working.
