Job Type: Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am 5:00pm
Additional hours may be required depending on business needs.
Quest Employment is currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Recycling Plant Team Leader to join a busy recycling operation in Sharnbrook.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous leadership experience within recycling, production, warehouse, or manufacturing environments who is looking for a long-term opportunity with career progression.
The Role
As a Recycling Plant Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the plant, ensuring production targets, operational efficiency, and Health & Safety standards are maintained at all times.
You will be responsible for leading site operations, supporting the workforce, and ensuring workloads are organised effectively across the plant.
Key Responsibilities
* Daily production planning across both balers
* Monitoring KPIs and reporting downtime
* Organising workloads for site cleaners and production staff
* Carrying out yard inspections
* Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times
* Supporting smooth day-to-day plant operations
* Supervising production activities and ensuring targets are achieved
* Leading, motivating, and supporting the team on site
Requirements
* Previous team leader or supervisory experience within recycling, production, warehouse, or manufacturing
* FLT licence preferred
* Experience with team management and production planning xsngvjr
* Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively
