Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative in Bolton Location: Bolton (SC), BL5 Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Hours: 37 hours weekly Shift Pattern: 4 Days On, 4 Days Off (10:00 AM - 10:00 PM) Role Overview We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to handle goods entering and leaving our Bolton site. Reporting directly to the Team Leader, you will ensure stock is moved efficiently, maintain a clean working environment, and assist with daily site processes. Key Responsibilities Move stock to correct locations using appropriate manual handling equipment. Load and unload Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) in both wet and dry environments. Packages goods to agreed standards while minimizing waste. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and follow all health, safety, and security policies (including site and vehicle key controls). Assist with general site processes, including basic administrative duties. Requirements Must possess a valid Counterbalance forklift license. Certified to use Manual Handling Equipment (MHE). Strong understanding of warehouse Health & Safety procedures. Basic PC literacy and solid interpersonal/teamwork skills. Understanding of basic KPIs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Desirable: Clamp attachment training/assessment.
