This is a permanent, full-time position with a Monday to Friday shift pattern.
The role involves supporting the Specialist Children’s Services multi-disciplinary team, including Paediatricians, Nurses, OTs, Physios, and SLTs. The post-holder will handle secretarial and administrative duties, working independently and supervising day-to-day team administration. They will also oversee Band 2 and 3 staff within the service and may have delegated responsibilities for facility and site management, ensuring health and safety compliance. The position requires in-office work for most hours.
Applicants should demonstrate competency in computer packages, evidenced by experience or formal qualifications such as ECDL, or hold a qualification in Administration equivalent to HNC in Secretarial Studies or Business Administration, or SVQ Level 3, or have significant relevant experience.
Good knowledge of office procedures and prior experience in secretarial or administrative roles are essential.
