Smile Education is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in Wolverhampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging lessonsin Nursery with support from an experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant in a long-term role which will be ongoing. This is a great opportunity for experienced HLTAs with a passion for Early Years or for a recently qualified ECT looking to build relationships with a brilliant local school before moving to their first teaching role.
About the Role:
* Deliver high-quality lessons to a Nursery class, covering planned teacher absences.
* Work closely with the teaching staff to support learning and classroom management.
* Assist with intervention groups, ensuring pupils receive tailored support.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Full-time position with a September start.
About You:
* Hold HLTA qualification or QTS (or equivalent experience).
* Previous experience delivering lessons to primarypupils.
* Confident in leading a classroom independently.
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
* Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.
