The project focuses on measuring QoS in trials for paediatric brain tumours, which is crucial for assessing treatment outcomes. The challenge lies in measuring QoS across Europe, with an aim to maximize participant accrual through a web-based patient-reported outcomes portal. The successful candidate will work closely with the QoS lead to manage European-wide data collection, data exports, and maintain SPSS databases and syntax files for statistical analysis.
Proficiency in SPSS, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential, especially when working with large datasets. The candidate will join a European research group focusing on paediatric brain tumour trials with an emphasis on QoS and will also be part of the Clinical Neurosciences research group within the School of Clinical and Experimental Sciences.
Applicants for Research Fellow positions should be nearing or have completed a relevant PhD. The title of Research Fellow will be awarded upon PhD completion; prior to that, the role will be titled Senior Research Assistant.
