We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef. The Sous Chef will support our talented Head Chef in the running and development of the team in training, health and safety, and menus.
About the Sous Chef role:
* Reporting directly to the Head Chef and deputising in their absence
* Working with the Head Chef to develop new menu ideas and improve our offerings
* Ensuring the food quality is maintained at the highest standard at all times
* Motivating and leading the chef team to perform at the highest level by example
* Overseeing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control in conjunction with the Head Chef
* Maintaining all food safety and health and safety procedures to the highest standards
Hours per week: 45
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a CDP, senior CDP, or Sous Chef
* Proficiency in diverse cooking techniques and cuisines
* Leaving Cert level education or above
* NVQ qualification or equivalent
* A passion for food and customer service
* Creativity and innovation in menus and food presentation
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Exceptional attention to detail
