About The Role
Are you ready to take your culinary career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join our vibrant Butlin's Buffet Department in beautiful Bognor Regis!
In this exciting role, you’ll report to the Senior Kitchen Manager and play a crucial part in leading a dynamic team of up to 40 talented individuals. Your mission? To make our guests smile! You’ll ensure that they remain at the heart of every operational decision.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Resource planning and recruitment to build the best team.
* Monitoring guest experiences and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
* Managing food cost budgets through effective menu planning and cooking to high standards.
* Ensuring compliance with food hygiene standards and health & safety regulations.
* Inspiring your team through training schedules and performance development plans.
Join us in leading our main buffet restaurant, where you’ll have the opportunity to develop your team’s skills while serving guests who have booked a half-board dining package. Variety is the spice of life, and we can’t wait for you to bring your unique flair!
About You
We’re looking for passionate individuals with experience in a similar role, or those eager to step up in their kitchen career. If you’re hardworking, determined, and reliable, we want to hear from you!
Here’s what we’re looking for:
* Energetic and enthusiastic team players who love to have fun.
* A strong understanding of how to enhance the guest experience by empowering your team.
* A Level 3 Food Safety qualification and confidence in leading a busy kitchen.
* Experience in managing margins, controlling costs, and ensuring health and safety standards.

Typical working hours: You’ll work five days over seven, covering 40 hours per week. Enjoy a unique opportunity to work in a kitchen environment without split shifts, typically finishing by 8 PM, and be part of a bonus scheme!
