HGV Class 2 Driver – Skip & RoRo
Location: Tonbridge, Kent
Contract Type: Temporary (Potential for Temp to Perm)
Hours: 48 hours/week | Monday to Friday | Early starts from 4am
Perm Salary: £43,000 per annum (Temp £14.50ph OR £18.21ph Umbrella)
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to support commercial waste operations in the Tonbridge area. This role involves operating Skip and Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo) vehicles to collect and dispose of waste across various sites. Occasional dustcart duties may be required depending on workload — full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operate Skip and RoRo vehicles for waste collection and disposal.
2. Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate paperwork.
3. Input route and collection data into onboard systems.
4. Comply with traffic laws and load weight regulations.
5. Flexibility required for occasional later starts.
Requirements
6. Valid Class 2 (Cat C) license.
7. CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
8. Experience with Skip and RoRo vehicles (waste industry preferred).
9. Reliable, safety-conscious, and flexible with working hours.
