Location: St Ives Bay Beach Resort, Hayle, TR27 5BH
Hours of work: Permanent Contract – 40 hours per week
Salary: £29,756 per annum
We are looking for a qualified gas maintenance engineer to join our fantastic gas engineer’s maintenance team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will work as part of a team to ensure everything is in good working order while making sure that all our holiday homes are safely connected and certified.

What you’ll be doing
* Manage gas testing and ensure new appliances are installed safely in holiday homes
* Managing the upkeep and servicing of boilers
* Connect, commission & test new holiday homes
* Manage the schedule of safety tests, so that they are always up to date
* Keep clear and accurate records of checks, audits and renewals
* Keep up to date with all legislation and regulations in relation to gas works
* One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to be prepared to work your magic on bank holidays, evenings and weekends.
Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need
* Gas Safe qualified, holding all current gas safe qualifications including: CCLP1LAV core, CCLP1RPH core, CENWAT1, CKR1, CPA1, MET1 & CCLP1PD.
* Experience of completing gas work within holiday homes would be desirable.
* Have a strong understanding of health & safety legislation
