Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified and GDC-registered Dental Nurse or a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our friendly and professional dental team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting clinicians, delivering high standards of patient care, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Dental Nursing Duties:
* Assist clinicians during a wide range of dental procedures, ensuring optimal chairside support.
* Prepare surgeries before and after each patient, maintaining strict cross-infection control and sterilisation protocols.
* Ensure equipment and materials are available and maintained to the highest standards.
* Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using IT systems effectively.
* Support clinical audits, stock control, and compliance with CQC regulations.
* Provide high quality, friendly and compassionate patient care
* Communicate effectively with patients, providing information on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
* Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient clinic operations and contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualities and Experience
* GDC-registered and fully qualified Dental Nurse (where applicable).
* Previous experience in a private or mixed dental practice is preferred.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking skills.
* A friendly, professional manner with a genuine focus on patient care.
* Confident using dental software (e.g. SOE/Exact or similar).
* Flexible and adaptable team player, able to prioritise effectively.

Pay: £8.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 46 per week
