Job Summary:
We are seeking a senior consultant to act as a Fractional CEO to design and
implement a streamlined operating model that reduces waste, improves supplier
value, strengthens profitability, and equips a new Marketing Manager with the tools
to drive audience growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Financial sustainability and efficiency
* Review current spend, suppliers and cost drivers; identify overspend and
propose savings.
* Deliver a short savings plan with clear targets and document at least three
renegotiated supplier agreements.
* Set up a simple monthly finance pack for the organisation (income &
expenditure, budget vs actual, cashflow).
* Introduce basic project P&L templates so each event shows income, costs and
margin.
2.
Procurement and pricing
* Draft a supplier code and thresholds for approval.
* Produce a preferred supplier list.
* Provide an outline pricing and profitability model for core events, with minimum margin thresholds.
3. Marketing function and systems
* Design the Marketing Manager role profile, onboarding plan and a light 12-month development outline.
* Configure a simple CRM for consented data capture and segmentation.
* Develop a basic KPI dashboard with 2–3 core marketing/audience metrics.
* Provide a starter brand and tone guide plus a 90-day content plan template.
4. Training, handover and close
* Deliver two staff workshops (finance and marketing systems).
* Provide a concise evaluation summary and 12-month action plan.
We are accepting tenders from sole traders, Ltd companies, and partnerships.
Location:
Regular contact time is required in the Bishop Auckland office. Remote working is
acceptable for documentation development, but it cannot be a purely virtual
arrangement.
