Senior Recruitment Consultant - U.S. Data Centre Construction
Remote (UK-based)
£40,000-£50,000 Base (negotiable) + commission to 30% (£100K+ OTE)

The situation:
I’m representing a high-growth recruitment business that’s nailed its UK and European desks across Advanced Construction, Life Sciences and Supply Chain.
The U.S. Construction division is performing strongly but there’s one gap: they need a recruiter to own and scale the U.S. Data Centre Construction market.
This isn’t a “see if it sticks” play. The market’s warm, the leadership’s proven and the commercial model’s already working. They just need someone who gets how to operate with EPCs, GCs and mission-critical infrastructure clients and wants to build something that actually lasts.
The role:
You’ll:
* Establish and grow the U.S. Data Centre Construction desk
* Place mid-senior construction professionals (PMs, CMs, MEP Leads, Commissioning Engineers)
* Run a full 360 desk - candidate sourcing, client development, deal delivery
* Work flexible hours to suit U.S. time zones
* Build something scalable, with potential to add a team under you within 12-18 months
* Shape your own strategy and go-to-market plan. No playbook, no micromanagement
What you’ll need:
* Consistent £200K+ annual billings
* 360 experience within Construction, Engineering or Data Centres
* Ideally U.S. or international market experience (not essential if you can adapt fast)
* Commercially sharp, credible with senior stakeholders and genuinely self-driven
* A builder’s mentality. Someone who thrives on creating value, not maintaining status quo
