We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist in Urology to join our multidisciplinary team. This is a pivotal role supporting both surgical and cancer pathways for urology patients, ensuring seamless, compassionate care across the service. The Clinical Nurse Specialist will contribute to the Urology Service acting as a key worker to provide support and information for patients. The post holder will promote and maintain high professional standards of nursing care to patients. The Clinical Nurse will practice autonomously and in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team to assess, plan and implement patients care and provide highly specialist advice. The Specialist Nurse will promote a culture that recognises and meets the specialists and complex needs of urological, whilst ensuring that performance targets are met. To ensure a person-centred approach to care for people affected by cancer within the Urology speciality. To contribute to improving the care and outcomes for Urological patients by leading and implementing best practice and ensuring all care is evidence based.
